This safari takes you to Bwindi Impenetrable forest home to the internationally renowned huge mountain gorillas. You will proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park –which holds the greatest biodiversity of wildlife including the tree climbing lions, buffaloes, leopards, elephants and hippos, and then the exciting launch cruise on the Kazinga channel.

Day 1: Travel to Bwindi Gorilla National
following an early breakfast you will set off from Kampala to the Western part of Uganda the pearl of Africa. You will briefly stop at the Equator to take some photographs and buy some souvenirs and then proceed through the beautiful verdant rolling hills of Kibale District. You will stop in Mbarara town just in time for lunch and then continue to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park where you will have dinner and overnight at,

DAY 2: Gorilla Trekking .
After breakfast you will go to the park headquarters where you will be briefed by the guides before you begin to search the Bwindi forest for the giant gorillas. Bwindi National Park is renowned for its impressive mountain gorillas, although it is unpredictable for how long you will track before finding them since it all depends on their movement. Though the time spent to track down these Gorillas is unpredictable, the thrill of spending time and observing these gentle giant gorillas is a rare, moving, awesome and exciting adventure that will leave you with long lasting memories of a truly unique experience. The gorillas are shy and peaceful animals and it is an unforgettable experience to watch and photograph them as they play and interact.
You will set out with a packed lunch and enough drinking water, and you are advised to wear strong comfortable boots plus a light rain-jacket since the weather in Bwindi Impenetrable forest is highly unpredictable. You will be availed with Walking sticks by the park rangers. Also visitors are allowed to spend only one hour with the gorillas for the purpose of conservation. The ranger guide will brief you on how to conduct yourself while in the presence of the gentle giants. Head back to hotel for diner and overnight.

Day 3: Bwindi-Travel to Queen
Early morning you will have breakfast and then drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park going through Ishasha area. You will have a game drive along the way during which you will see climbing Lions, various Antelope species, Elephants, Hyenas, Leopards and Buffaloes.

Day 4: Game drive – Boat cruise along Kazinga Channel
Today you wake up early. A little before sunrise , a lovely breakfast will be served in the lounge before we head out for a long game drive in time to see the first rays of light. You will search for all the wildlife in the park and are likely to come across Elephant, Buffalo, Lion, Waterbuck, Leopard, Uganda Kob, and many Warthogs.
A well-deserved brunch will be served back at the lodge in the late morning. In the afternoon you will take a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel which joins Lake George and Lake Albert. Here, you will see a lot of hippos (more than you can possibly imagine!), as well as a variety of other animals which come to the waterhole to drink or bathe. You can expect to see buffalo, crocodile, bathing elephant, and a range of beautiful birds. This will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of your tour. After the boat-safari you will drive back to the lodge.

Day 5: Game Drive and Return to
Following an early tea /coffee you will set out for another game drive along the Queens mile and the Kasenyi track inside the park to see leopard, mongoose, Lions, Uganda Kobs, Elephants, hyena, waterbucks, Cape buffaloes, Topi, Warthogs, and several small animals plus birds. At the end of the game drive, you will return for Kampala having lunch along the way.
